Microsoft said it was done letting Apple walk all over it, and it seems gaming is going to be one of the battle grounds in its new mobile war. It’s announced that Halo 4 will work on its new Surface tablets — has mobile gaming just been turned up a notch?
Microsoft was extremely light on details; this could just be a second screen experience with Smartglass or something, not a full-blown gaming one, but then I’m not sure why Microsoft would quite so cagey about that. With beastly quad-core phones and mighty mobile graphics chips basically already matching the horsepower of the Xbox 360, maybe it will be a full Halo 4 experience — that’d be quite something.
