From April Fools’ joke to an actual race, it’s been a long strange trip for World of Warcraft’s kung-fu fighting pandas. It’s a journey that will culminate with the launch of the fourth expansion for WoW, Mists of Pandaria, on September 25. Yup, Blizzard will finally be ready to open the continent of Pandaria in two months, and the studio is now accepting your pre-order dollars.
As far as expansions go, Mists of Pandaria is a big one, not only bringing a new continent and playable race (pandaren) and class (monk), but also pet battles, an all new talent tree system, co-op PvE trials called scenarios, and loot-packed challenge modes for five-player dungeons.
