Would You Buy a Slightly Thicker Phone With Actually Decent Battery Life?

The problem with these super-skinny phones that we’re all getting is that battery life, frankly, sucks. I still remember a time when battery life could be measured in days, not hours.

If the latest Google X Phone rumour is to be believed, it’ll come packing a big battery rivalling the Motorola MAXX line. But would you buy it if it wasn’t the thinnest phone in the world?

I don’t know about you, but I was happy with the thickness of the iPhone 4S for example. Things get ever smaller, so what I’m saying is, shrink the components but keep the device the same thickness and slap a whopping big battery in there. I mean, it’s not like battery tech is magically going to get any better any time soon, so size is the way to go, along with aggressive power management.

If Motorola/Google made a Nexus 4-class device that was a little bit thicker, but with a huge battery, I’d buy it. Would you?
